I’ve been able to walk up to my screen and swat bugs off of it and swat flying insects around the house.

Considering the circumstances I was pretty calm. I didn’t have a panic attack, and even the paranoia didn’t last as long as it normally does.  Where normally I would constantly be thinking, “Oh if I open this drawer, I’m gonna see a roach.  If I open my shower curtain I’m gonna see a roach, etc.”  Previously when I had an encounter, (with an insect), I would stay paranoid for a few days.   Now I am fine after a short time.  So all in all I seem to be doing pretty well.

Yes I feel there is definitely improvement and people that know me well have noticed it. I am definitely not spending as much time focusing on taking alternate routes, etc.  It is easier to live life. I would definitely recommend your services to anyone that may need them.

Having just returned from a trip to Europe, I have now enjoyed it all and my husband is much happier too. My only regret is that I did not meet Jeff earlier. Having the freedom from fear is truly exhilarating. Thank you for teaching me to overcome my fear and allowing myself a better quality life.

An update after 6 years:

Dear Jeff,

I recently went for a drive from Santa Barbara to Solvang. I drove on Highway 154 which runs through the Santa Ynez Mountains. It’s a Highway that’s quit treacherous, with its blind spots and tight curves.  However it has some of the most incredible views of Santa Barbara and the California coastline.  It’s the kind of drive I would have avoided like the plague before you worked with me.  I want you to know that  I am forever grateful.  Helping me get rid of my fear of heights has truly changed my life.  To get out of my car and stand at a lookout point, fully enjoying the view, is an experience I thought I would never be able to have.  It’s hard to explain the exhilaration and happiness I feel being able to do this.  The feeling of being free of fear allows me to take many roads untraveled, not just literally but metaphorically as well.  Thank you for helping me live my life to its fullest.

After one session:

Things are going really good and busy (a good busy).  I got your message a couple days ago and it was very insightful; what you wrote accurately described what I have been going through over the past few days and it was refreshing to know that it was a normal response.  Adjusting to the “new” me is very rewarding, but does feel awkward at times… I now find myself doing certain things with great ease that I once feared and was hesitant towards.  Now that the “cloud” has been lifted, I find myself more task oriented and more adept at quickly moving from one to another and feeling an overall sense of progress.

The challenge I face now is coming to term with all the tasks I have and properly prioritizing them.  I find myself responding to external stimuli in more productive and tangible ways, leading to a greater sense of self-realization with all that I have to do.  This is challenging, but extremely rewarding… building a growing a set of pleasurable, goal-oriented tasks and finding comfort in the “chaos” of the real world.  

For years I lived with the fear of driving on freeways. With living in L.A. they’re just a part of life. However I would go out of my way to avoid driving on the freeways, expending time and energy. The few times I tried to talk myself out of the fear and ventured to drive on the freeway, I couldn’t. Actually, I was literally “frozen with fear”.

Working with Jeff, within minutes I felt different, though I couldn’t explain or understand the new feelings. Although I still believed that I couldn’t drive on the freeway, as that was “normal” for me, I for some reason, could not get myself to feel the anxiety. I tried really hard to evoke that fear, but just could not.

Just a couple of days after our session, I got on that freeway as though I’d been doing it forever! And by myself, I might add. Now I can’t even believe that I ever felt afraid! Best of all, I now don’t have to avoid going places requiring to take the freeway, and when I go, I now have a choice whether or not to ride with somebody else! Thank you, Jeff!

I feel great and I’m not addicted to soda any longer! I feel as though your work with me gave me the jump start I really have not had a coke/Pepsi since your work with me!! I don’t even have the desire for I have so much more energy and confidence in myself. People have told me that I look like a different person and in some ways I feel a lot different. I am proud of myself for keeping to my healthy lifestyle.

Jeff Schoener really helped me discover and define what I’m looking for in both a partner and in life. I have learned how to weed out what and who is now obviously not for me, and focus on what and who is. He has helped me get to know myself and taught me skills to realize my potential.

My husband and I had the extreme good fortune to meet with Jeff Schoener. Through this stroke of luck we have managed to get our life back on track with our teenage son, with whom we had previously experienced problems dealing.

To this point (it has been two months), through implementing the unique skill sets which we have been utilizing daily, the lines of communication are opening up and we are able to talk things through.

Would we go this route again? Absolutely. We can only attribute all of the positive actions that we have taken to Jeff Schoener. Had we listened to our well meaning friends, our son would be in long term therapy and taking medication of sorts.

We appreciate what Jeff has helped us accomplish and I would recommend it to anyone with an uncontrollable situation to help pave the way for a better tomorrow and to lessen fears of any sort.

I contracted the services of Jeff Schoener because of family issues with my daughter. The exercises I learned were extremely helpful and now I am stronger and able to use these skills when communicating with my daughter as well as in my professional field. I am now strong enough to set limits and stick to them.

There was also an issue from my past that had to do with my relationship with my mother. The session I had with Jeff in relation to that was terrific! As soon as the session was done, my feelings had changed. I was able to let go of all the negative feelings I had been carrying.

Jeff Schoener’s sessions have been time well spent and very valuable. He taught me to consider the importance of who I am, then helping me build up the confidence I had lacked, also to recognise and aim for the goals I want to achieve as well as the things that was meaningful in my life. Because of this, I now have a direction in life and look childhood, is the fear of spiders. I used to‘re-act’ irrationally badly but now, he taught me to ‘act’ not ‘re-act ‘and it well applies to all aspects of my life. Thank you, Jeff Schoener you are BRILLIANT!

Your unique approach to helping people to understand themselves and others has been a tremendous help to me and my family. I have gained valuable and powerful insights into my personal belief system and have been able to translate them into positive action in an astonishingly short amount of time. My relationships are more rewarding and I am a better parent. I am especially excited about how I have been able to apply what I have learned from you to help my two children overcome fears and become more confident and mature. The results for all of us have been life enhancing for the long term, not quick fix band-aids. You have my thanks and gratitude!
